the American Curl

The distinctive feature of the American Curl is its uniquely attractive curled ears.  Curls are well balanced, moderately muscled, slender - rather than massive - in build.  They are alert and active with a gentle, even disposition.  Acceptable patterns include Solids, Shades, Smokes, Tabbys Tortoiseshells, Bicolors, Particolors, and Pointeds in most colors.

The American curl comes in both shorthair and longhair.
